the zoetrope is a early version of animation.the zoetrope  is a illusion based technology . 
the way i work is that the zoetrope has to be turn fast .it will then rote at the derision that the animation is facing.the person that is viewing the zoetrope has to look through the slots.for the animation illusion to work.

it also had a easier way to view it when you wanted to use it like a zoetrope as you just had to look a the center and the mirror on the praxinoscope would show the image.
the zoetrope and the praxinoscope are very similar in design. buy the praxinoscope can be seen as a improvement to the zoetrope .from design and innovation.
